Girumasu - Episode 1 - Alina Soaks in Bath Tub

All Alina ever wanted was to come home from work on time and have a nice warm bath before relaxing for the night.

Alina Clover loves her day job as a guild receptionist. However, she hates the adventurers constantly giving her overtime! Her solution? Killing the dungeon bosses that keep spawning extra work! She disguises herself, but dealing with those adventurers is a challenge in and of itself.

The Girumasu (Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu, I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time) episode started with a flashforward of the “Executioner” poaching a dungeon boss victory. Alina daydreamed about her perfect day of going home on time, but a specific unconquered dungeon kept her at the office doing paperwork. She knew what she had to do!

Catching up to the present, Girumasu showed how “The Executioner” singlehandedly defeated a dragon. But the party leader saw her face! Will she lose her secret life?

Jade, the adventurers’ party leader, recognized Alina as the Executioner from her long black hair and green eyes. He wanted her to join his party, but she wanted him to die for jeopardizing her slow life goals. Will he eventually give up on her?

The end credit sequence for Girumasu has a peppy tune and kawaii character designs for Alina, Laila (Alina’s coworker), and Lululee (a healing class mage). Some call it the “brain rot” song of the winter anime season.
