Yandere Dark Elf continues its tour of slice-of-life clichés to mine for fanservice. Last week, babysitting led to Mariabelle practicing nursing an infant. This week, Mariabelle played a nurse for an ill Hinata. From nursemaid to nurse! Is playing “maid” next on the agenda? Mariabelle will need more technical training before that, but she should look great in a sexy French maid uniform.
A sick-at-home visit should have deepened a romantic relationship, but, unfortunately, it affects people less who already live together. Mariabelle only played through the emotions of showing gratitude in Yandere Dark Elf, episode 7. But Sakura received the most benefit from visiting Hinata during his illness. She saw him naked! Plus, she met her favorite live streamer when Mei returned from her collab with Tres Magia from Gushing over Magical Girls. What a fun day for Sakura.
Before all that, however, we saw another slice-of-life scenario that led to Sakura rescuing Mariabelle in the market district: Baby’s First Shopping Errand. A parent or older sibling would usually follow the younger child around to ensure safety. But Yandere Dark Elf only has twelve minutes to play with. I liked how Mariabelle’s solo trip presented her progress in tuning out humans’ thoughts and emotions. She hasn’t made much progress, but Mariabelle does better with a partner. Sakura and Mariabelle’s friendliness evoked warm, fuzzy feelings. How nice! That’s also good for the audience because it means we can watch naked girls talk in the bathtub. Win-win!

Hey! Cecil and Mei are still neighbors next door to Hinata and Mariabelle in Yandere Dark Elf. Is this a typical morning for Cecil? Look! Mei live streams her breakfast cooking. Oh, it’s Sunday. Mei’s dream of collaborating with Tres Magia came true! I thought Cecil refused to overwork at her office. What changed? Uh oh. Emergency! Hinata has a cold!

Hinata just missed out on Cecil casting healing magic because she had already left for work. Oops. Mei would have helped Mariabelle cook rice porridge, but she has an appointment about gushing over magical idol girls. Mariabelle is alone with a sick Hinata, and the only thing she knows how to do is to put a nipple in his mouth. That’s the wrong kind of nursing, Mariabelle!

Now, Hinata’s classmate can do a sick-at-home visit for herself. Whoa. Hinata has the best feverish fanservice dreams. A tongue bath instead of a sponge bath? Okay! Add in some nipple play, too. Oho. Parts of Hinata are healthy enough! Hinata never gets a happy ending in his dreams, though.
Boo! Yandere Dark Elf only gave us a regular warm cloth wiping. But Hinata has enough appetite to gobble down rice porridge. Mariabelle is still thirsty. No, Mariabelle. Hinata’s comment on liking her food enough to eat every day is not a marriage proposal. Whoops. No sexy flashbacks in the shower, Hinata. Ambush! Oops. Sakura was in the splash zone. Shower time for her, too. Mariabelle and Sakura have some girl talk in the bathtub. Uh oh. Mariabelle can tell that Sakura likes someone and wishes to support her. Well. That’s love rivalry, like when they first met.
The day is over, and Cecil and Mei want to check in on the kids. They’re totally fine! Ooh! Sakura is a subscriber to Mei’s streaming channel! Calm down, Japanese Girl. How fun for Hinata. All his friends are becoming friends with each other.
